50th Anniversary

On the 8th of June 2012 the school community of the Sacred Heart Primary School had the pleasure of inviting our past pupils, past staff members, neighbours and friends to join with us in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our current school building. There was a wonderful ecumenical service led by Fr Treacy, spirit lifting singing from our school choir, a speech from our principal Mr Devitt and just like any other school day a roll call of 50 past pupils – one from each of the 50 years of the school. As with any good party there was food, drink, a magician, an ice-cream van and great dancing. Many thanks to all the children and staff who worked so hard to organise every aspect of the celebration. The day surpassed our expectations and will live long in our memories as a great success.
